Families on Edge is a concept that was mooted in the year 2007/2008. The genesis was in the crises generated by a series of conflicts and violence that left many Kenyans exposed to primary and secondary trauma. A team of professionals synergized to give primary care and support to the survivors of the Trauma. Psychological first aid was given and referrals channeled to other care givers.
